What you need to know about me is that I am a very large but lovely woman and I have been seeing and hearing about this product for about a year And I finally thought OK give it a try well I will never go back to regular odor control, and that which shower dry, put on deodorant, then pat on powder, then try again and recheck all of my no no spots to make sure that I haven't missed anything. I have to tell you that, even though it's a small package, it has a mighty big impact. I cannot be happier with it other than I wish I had more.

When this first arrived I laughed out loud at the size. I suppose I should have paid more attention to the details before I purchased, but I was in plain disbelief that I had paid well over $30 for these itty bitty samples. Absolutely astonishing that they charge so much for such a tiny amount of product. Due to this alone, I have taken off a star.However, after 2 days of trying this product, I couldn't be happier.I strictly use natural deodorant, but unfortunately lately they've been failing me. I was beginning to lose hope and began to consider making the regrettable switch to "regular" deodorant. Then I decided to do some research and that's where I found Lume. Due to its price tag, I wanted to try a sample first to see if it works, and to find a scent I'd like. I thought the bottles would be bigger, but they are very very small, about the size of a tiny sample size lotion you'd get at a hotel or as a freebie in a goodie bag. They would do well for traveling.I was skeptical at first. It felt weird to rub deodorant on my pits like a lotion. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it dried. It definitely has a bad/weird smell at first, but thankfully that doesn't last. On the first day I kept checking throughout the day and was very pleased to find that my pits were dry, and smelled just fine. I was very surprised to find that when I woke up the next day, I still smelled quite fresh. Second day I showered and reapplied, and once again I've been fresh and dry throughout the day.This product is the answer! I love that it's considered natural and nontoxic and even more thrilled that I don't have to smell like a dirty hippy!

I bought this 5 mini sample pack to help me determine which scent I would prefer and to determine if the product actually works before committing to purchasing the larger product size. I was a bit surprised at how small the sample size containers were for the price. I have included a picture so the consumer can see the actual size of the product. This product cost $30.49. I was going to return it as soon as I received it because I felt the cost was not worth what I received for the amount of product. I decided in the end to give it a chance. This product arrived at the perfect time. I was able to test it during a trip to Florida during 100 degree heat, I will admit, I was very anxious to test this product in such extreme heat and I am a very active person. I exercise everyday and I went for long walks in the sun and heat. Surprisingly, I didn't notice an sweat odor after long hours of exercise/ activity, but I did reapply couple of times, purely out of fear that it could start to fail. As far as scent is concerned, the unscented cream does have a scent, not very pleasant, more like light diaper rash cream. Lavender sage does have smell of lavender with small diaper rash cream like smell mixed in. Toasted coconut smells like coconuts without the diaper rash cream after smell. Clean tangerine smells like tangerine with slight diaper rash cream after smell. Peony Rose smells like rose. I used a pea size amount under each arm and rubbed it into my skin. If felt lightweight and didn't stain my clothes. Over all this product did the job. My favorite scents were Toasted Coconut, Lavender, and Clean Tangerine. I have tried many aluminum free deodorants in the past and found many of them failed me, this product did not. My review is based of smell, effectiveness, the fact that it is aluminum free and cost. I wish this product was more affordable. I am trying to always save money and find products that are better for my health. Does the product work? Yes! Is it cost effective? No! Is it aluminum free? Yes! I do value my health and at the same time, I do have to watch where I spend my money. So far this sample pack has lasted for 2 applications per day for 2 weeks with a significant amount left for at least another 2 weeks left. For those of us who live on a budget, I don't know if I would purchase again, simply because the price, but if you are someone who spends money on products that contain less chemicals, it might me worth a try.

This product line truly does work! I've used the soap, wipes and also this sampler body cream. I would not say it holds me for 72 hours, especially while exerting energy in hot humid weather. You can refresh your hot spots, however, when unwanted odor starts to occur. As others report, the product does have an underlying base smell, but it neutralizes quickly IMO. The one CON for me is the price, for the amount you receive … WHEW!! I was shocked at the sampler size … but, a little does go a long way. I'd definitely buy again, and recommend it as well.
